I love this hula hoop. I've never really done hooping apart from at school when I was younger. I have bought a book and dvd to go with the hula hoop but I am yet to read or watch them as I am having so much fun just trying to get the hang of keeping it going (which doesn't take long with practice). It's great as you can just pick it up and have a hula anytime you fancy it. None of this having to get ready for the gym or setting up the living room for your exercise video. You just pick it up and away you go, minding that you have enough room to swing round that is. I live in a very compact flat and I just skim the walls when I do it but that's all the room you need, although you'd probably benefit from being able to have more room than this. I highly recommend the hula hoop to anyone who wants exercise to be fun and wants to challenge themselves to something other than the gym or a boring home exercise dvd. You'll find that everyone in your household will want to give it a try. It can be more entertaining than playing the Nintendo Wii! Give it a try.

I was a bit sceptical about spending so much money on a hulahoop when you can get one from a kids toy shop for half the price, but as soon as this arrived I could see the benefit. The increased size and weight makes this much, much easier to use than the smaller, lighter ones that you would buy for a child. I hadn't used a hulahoop for about 20 years, but I followed the tips that come with the hoop and was up and running within 5 minutes.

I really wanted to get back in shape but didn't want to do boring sit ups. Hula hooping is not only fun but the effects are amazing. I've dropped a dress size already and I've only been doing it for a short while. A friend at work got one after seeing how it helped me and like myself is now addicted.

I love this but it's big best place to use it is outside, it's heavy but I like this as well, I haven't had a Hoola hoop since I was 10 thats 50 years ago, now I practise every day and my skill is coming back, and it's FUN.
